The Toronto Film Challenge offers teams of 8 or 10 (depending on the event) the opportunity to make a film in 24 or 48 hours.

The Next Challenge

What: The Triumphant Return of the 48-Hour Film Challenge

When: Nov12, 2010 – Nov 14, 2010

Where: All around Toronto, whereever you can shoot/edit

Who: Teams of up to 10 people.

How Much: $250 Per Team – All teams who finish will be shown on the big screen at a proper downtown theatre. Top films, actors, editors, directors, etc. will be eligible for thousands of dollars worth of prizes.

What else: Teams can shoot and edit on whatever equipment they have access to. Final projects must be turned in on a DVD in a Quicktime format (that would be a data dvd). Students, Professionals, Amateurs, etc. are all welcome to participate. We will gather around 7pm on Friday, and say “GO!” at 8pm. Films need to be in by 8pm SHARP on Sunday. No excuses for late work…. so check your equipment before the challenge!

Registration: Starting September 13, 2010, registration will be available through this website. Team entry fees must be paid for registration to be official. No exceptions.
